NEW CONGREGATIONAL M.B.C.
SUNDAY EMPHASIS
LEGACY SUNDAY (1st Sunday)
During Legacy Sunday, we reconnect with our Gospel roots and traditional faith heritage. We partake in the Lord’s Supper together and we celebrate Jesus like we did in bygone eras. Legacy Sunday is truly a nostalgic and powerful time.
J.A.M. SUNDAY (2nd Sunday)
J.A.M. is an acronym which stands for Justice, Advocacy and Mental Health. During this service we dedicate a brief portion of our service to discuss the various justice and mercy activities we’re engaged in. We also have a segment aimed at addressing important mental health topics, because we believe mental health is a discipleship issue.
PRAYER & DELIVERANCE SUNDAY (3rd Sunday)
On 3rd Sunday, we open up the altar and all who need prayer come and receive it. It’s a focused time of petitioning God for help, healing, miracles and deliverance. God always moves mightily at this service.
YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT SUNDAY (4th Sunday)
On 4th Sunday, we turn our service over to our Youth and Young Adults. They use their God-given gifts and talents to bless the congregation. Our Youth and Young Adults are our future, and on this Sunday, they take center stage. Additionally, we dress casual on this Sunday.
EVANGELISM SUNDAY (5th Sunday)
We encourage our members to tell others about the grace and goodness of the Lord. On Evangelism Sunday, we bring our unsaved and/or unchurched friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors to church. We dress casual on this Sunday to make the service more accessible.
